SELF-PLEASURE COACHING:
guide to erotic
embodiment
whatever serves your intentions and well-being. this is your container :)
We're here to expand what self-pleasure can mean.
-
Set up the space.
- Make your space comfortable & pleasant prior to the practice. Make sure you have enough room to move freely.
- Set up anything that might inspire your self-love practice: massage oil, candles or pleasant lighting, flowers, lubricant, essential oils, incense, blindfold, toys, a notebook, or anything else that might help your practice.
-
Set an intention.
-
It can be helpful to begin your Erotic Embodiment practice by setting an intention. For example:
— find out what self-pleasure means for me
— reclaim my erotic capacities
— fully experience feelings and sensations in my body
— focus on pleasure and eroticism
— freely and creatively encounter myself and my own body
-
It can be helpful to begin your Erotic Embodiment practice by setting an intention. For example:
-
Arrive.
Arrive in your body with a self-massage, tapping, meditation, dance, qi gong, etc.
Say hello to your body, relaxing and softening your muscles.
-
Experiment.
Consciously and sensually experience or arouse yourself in your body (optionally: including the genitals). Experiment, listen to the resonance you receive from your body. Have fun.
-
Integrate.
Give yourself quiet integration time over the last 5 minutes, doing nothing, to integrate the experience & the learnings.
- The process begins with the intention to permanently store the experience of a pleasurable session or other learning experience in your body.
- Notice your sensations and feeling states, and trace what happened in the session. It is helpful to remember any distractions & resistances AND link these interruptions to the best outcomes of our session.
- We can support anchoring with an attitude of gratitude. Consciously inviting the memory to sink into your body also supports anchoring.
- Reflect on your intention and how the session went, with curiousity about the next session.
-
Share.
Send me your textual reflections after each session about the practice and the effect of your intention. The experience is best described within 60 minutes of the session.
- For the first two sessions, write reports (reflection) and email/message them to me after each session.
- If you don’t go through with the session, still send me an account of the circumstances that led to it. This communication will provide us with important clues about motivation, as well as obstacles & distractions.
- I will respond to the reflection as soon as I can.
-
After 3 sessions: Reflect.
After the third session, write a reflection around the session and also around the entire process. What did you experience in these three sessions? What did you learn?
- what did you learn?
- how did you feel? before/during/after the sessions?
- (how) do you feel this impacted your sexuality?
- what do you feel about this process in relation to your intention?
- what was supportive? / what was not supportive? (both from my end and from yours)
- what were some challenges / resistances / distractions?
- what were some beautiful moments?
- how do you feel about the process and development from session to session?
- (what) would you want to keep exploring?
- what do you take with you?
- how will you anchor this in your day-to-day, if you want to?
-
We meet again.
After you’ve completed three sessions, we’ll talk again about the three practice sessions, intentions, feeling states, any resistances or distractions and things you’ve learned.
